NISSAN MOTORSPORT

This was the brainchild of the General Manager of Nissan Motorsport and our brief was to create a transportable, Plug and Play imitation engineers station to accommodate an interactive display for motorsport fans. The principal concept was to place the units at the rear of the pit lane garage and allow special guests to access some cool features on the touch screens including various track cameras and race data while listening to and watching the pit crew in action during actual races. We created 3D concept designs so all aspects could be integrated into the design. Constructed from an Aluminium sub-frame on Heavy duty Castors and then clad in aluco-bond paneling with Forklift access points and adjustable leveling feet. Power circuits and a data network sub structure were also accommodated into the design to link 12 individual touch screen PC's and allow them to be connected to the main network. The end result was a rewarding success for our team.
